I’m a bad parent

I think I might be getting a little obsessed with this training lark. And it’s getting me into trouble with Nikki.

I didn’t swim this morning as I wasn’t going into the office until after lunch. So instead, I was going to swim after work, on the way home. My meeting took a little longer than planned, but as I was heading home, I thought I’d still have time to do 30mins in the pool and be back in time to take Samuel to his swimming lesson. Great!

Except I was so focused on swimming, I forgot I needed to be back earlier to take the girls to Brownies. Whoops!

That didn’t go down well with Nikki, as you can imagine! The children have always come first in our house, and quite rightly so.

At this rate though, I might slip down the pecking order, below the dog – if I’m not already down there!
