Do you believe in omens?
August 4, 2011 | 9:24 pmI don’t.
But if I did, then tonights last training ride before Sunday would certainly be considered a good one.
I have done this loop a few times before. The first half of the 12.5 mile loop is a fairly steady uphill climb of about 300ft with the second half being downhill for the same amount with a small climb of 100ft in the penultimate mile.
I went out tonight on my Tri bike. I think I’ve done this route on it before, but to be honest, I can’t remember. If I haven’t, I should have.
I knocked over 2 minutes off my previous best time. And for the first time ever on a bike, I averaged 20 mph for the ride!
Really encouraging ahead of my Triathlon on Sunday.
A good omen even, if I believed in them!
