Tour de Type 1

I’m sure you will have worked out by now that I quite like riding my bike!

You may not be aware that the biggest bike race in the world, the Tour de France, is coming to Yorkshire next year. The first 2 stages of next years Tour will be from Leeds to Harragote on day one, and from York to Sheffield on day two.

In the month before the actual race, in June 2014, the charity we support – JDRF – are organising a ride along the whole route of stage 1.

Aptly called the Tour de Type 1, I have signed up to ride all 118 miles on 14th June 2014. You’ll hear more of this from me over the next few months!
