The morning after the night before

Once the ferry landed last night, we hopped on board the coach for the quick transfer to Dieppe.
Did you know? Dieppe is 2 hours from Calais! And unfortunately, once we arrived, the coach driver didn’t know where the hotel was. So we finally got to bed at 1.30am (French time)!!!
Wake up call was 7.30am and that was French time too, of course.
So, 31 people at breakfast with 75 miles ahead of them on the bike after 6 hours sleep!!!

Are you Riding the Avenue Verte to Paris? I can’t see why you rode to Dover to start in Dieppe? You should have just ridden to Newhaven and got the ferry to Dieppe from there.

I can’t comment on the route we have taken, as I didn’t plan it, except to say that the first day’s cycling from Dieppe has been through some beautiful countyside!!!
