May’s training review
May 31, 2011 | 6:11 pmWith less than two weeks to go until my first event in my “Four 4 a Cure” challenge, I have had a mixed month on the training front.
It has proved hard to do any training this past weekend – life just got in the way. I’m not complaining but Nikki going to see Take That meant I was Daddy Day Care for Friday and Saturday, then we had visitors so Sat/Sun/Mon was written off to the food and beer entertaining gods! Enjoyable, of course, but not good for the training regime!
With today being the last day of the month, I took the opportunity to cycle to work, leaving me with the following stats:
34 activities in total is a bit misleading – there aren’t that many days in the month! Strictly speaking, I haven’t trained separately that many times. One session of intervals in the pool a couple of weeks ago was recorded as 5 activities, and commuting to work and back obviously shows as 2.
But I’m still pretty pleased with that, especially considering the lost weekend we’ve just had!
