The challenge of No Challenges
September 23, 2011 | 6:18 pmTwo weeks ago today, I was cycling to Paris.
Since we returned, I have only ridden my bike twice and been for one run.
Tonight, I was going to go for a run, but instead opened a beer and started eating Doritos. Not very healthy at all! (Although they are Chilli Heatwave flavour, which are really nice!).
That’s not a lot of exercise to show for two weeks worth of eating and drinking (which is what I like to do when I’m not exercising!!!)
The problem is I don’t have a goal. A challenge. Something to work towards. Something to motivate me.
And as the nights draw in and the mornings get darker, it is less and less appealing to go riding or running just for fun.
At this rate, I will have put on a stone before Christmas!!!
It’s not exactly an advertisement for healthly living is it???
