When ambition outstrips ability

With the weather beautiful outside, I took the opportunity to indulge myself a bit for my last ride of October – a 2 hour ride from Tickhill to Clumber Park and back.

All the way around, I was trying to push hard to see if I can maintain an average speed of 18mph. I don’t know where I first heard it, but that is a magic number. Maintaining 18mph as an average speed is quite a good standard apparently.

Unfortunately, I am nowhere near that. I blame the head wind!
