Weather and status update

After the very dodgy start this morning, the weather has been really kind all day. One more stop then it’s the final run in to Paris – see you at the Eiffel Tower!!!

Punctures!!!

They must be like London red buses – we don’t have any for two days then we have two come along at once – well, not quite but within a few hours!!!

Matt is our doctor for the challenge and has offered his services free of charge. What a jolly nice chap!!!

Lisa Skidmore

Lisa is Type 1 Diabetic and has been for 3 years. Whilst we have been on this ride, she’s been responsible for motivation and moral – and has done a stirling job! She’s a tiger – aarrrrhh!!!

Justin Gilbert and Jonathan Durling

Justin is on the right and they are cycling for Jonathan’s Grandad Bill, who passed away in 1988. He was Diabetic his whole life.

Trevor and Greg Hopkinson

Trevor is on the left and they are riding for Trevor who is Diabetic himself. Greg’s mum Kate said he had to come – to look after his old man!!!

Weather update

The rain has stopped and the sun is trying to break through – yay!!! Just debating weather to take off my waterproofs – I’ll probably scare the sun away if I do!!!
